The following is information about what to expect and bring to your newborn session. It is very important that anyone attending the session read over this prep guide carefully. Doing your part to prepare will help create the perfect environment for a smooth session and a happy baby.

STUDIO ADDRESS
2035 Paulding Ave, BX NY, 10462 | Between Lydig & Neill Ave. The house with the red stairs, upstairs door.

STUDIO PHONE
347-293-8867
(no texting, landline number)

PARKING
The only parking available is street but it's a safe neighborhood and there are usually a few spots here and there. If you do not find a spot right in front, please drop the baby off first then look for parking.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Please see the end of this page for directions.

STUDIO RULES
CAMERAS/CELL PHONES & PICTURES/VIDEO/FACETIME ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE STUDIO and is STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Every prop I have in the studio, every setup and pose is the result of an enormous amount of time, money, education, and sacrifice. It is considered stealing and highly disrespectful to use your camera to take pictures in a photography studio. Please respect my talent, business, and art.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
Please do not bring more than 1 Adult person with you to your session. My studio cannot accommodate large groups and it is very distracting to have any more than is absolutely necessary.

ILLNESS
It is very important that my studio be germ free so please do not bring anyone to the studio that is sick-especially the baby! The session will be cancelled and your session fee forfeited if anyone present is sick.

PREP
THE NIGHT BEFORE-SESSION DAY PACK LIST
Please make sure you have ALL of the following items on hand for the session. Prepare the things you are going to bring the night before so the morning of the shoot you wont have to worry about it.

1. No less than 5 Diapers (no designs are preferred)
2. A couple of advent soothie pacifiers (no luvie or attachments, please read below)
3. A baby blanket (to comfort in between poses, that you dont mind if it gets peed on)
4. 2 Burp cloths
6. A baby hair brush
7. A pair of slippers or socks for your feet (I dont allow shoes in the studio)

A SOOTHIE PACIFIER
Please bring a pacifier even if your baby doesn’t currently take one – I highly recommend the Advent SOOTHIE (the type they give at the hospital) as it doesnt leave marks on the baby's face.  Even if you don’t plan to use one at home, I ask that you please bring one to use just for the session as it will help tremendously during posing. Sucking is a natural way for a newborn to self-soothe and it can work miracles in between shots.

WHAT SHOULD BABY WEAR TO THE STUDIO?
Please do not dress baby in layers or any clothes that have to be pulled over the top of their head as it wakes the baby when doing so. Also no socks, or headbands. A footed sleeper with nothing else on is best.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE SESSION Your session will last 1 hour. It is very important to follow directions about how to prepare especially if your session is in the afternoon. If your baby has slept all morning he/she is most likely going to be awake when I try to pose them.

If this matters to you and you want sleepy baby photos, please keep your baby up for at least 2 hours before your session. You can do this by giving the baby a long, drawn out bath or sponge bath. Babies will not sleep in the tub. Drag it out for as long as possible. Then proceed with drying and moisturizing the baby. Again, take your time. 1/2 hr before leaving, feed the baby, make sure they burp, and leave right after you're done.
